Cobham Park Veterinary Clinic
I visit once a week after college and for whole days during college holidays. I sit in on consultations and afterwards discuss with the vet his reasons for the diagnosis and treatment of animals. I assist with some treatments (eg. bandaging, removing IV catheters, holding animals while they have injections) and in operations (handing instruments to the vet and monitoring respiration and heart rates). After operations, I clean, scrub and pack up the surgical instruments in preparation to be put in the autoclaver.
